According to the survey 89 % of delhiites believe that city has been good or excellent compared to other cities in the last five years. Mumbai isn't far behind with 87 % of its recident believing that and kolkota being the lowest with 60 %. More importantly 97 % of Delhiites believe that the city would see 'excellent' or 'good' progress over the next five year which is way to higher than even Mumbaikars (72 %) aur ho bhi kyon na, afterall on the advent of commonwealth game which are gonna be hosted by Delhi, the city will definitely witness awesome changes in its facility and infrastructure.

Should IIMs go global ?

Hi All,

With the latest talk on the issue about the globalization of the IIMs, HRD Minister Mr. Arjun Singh said (in the news in todays, 18th Jan, The Times of India News Paper, Delhi Edition) that they can't go global as of now because they are not independent companies and are made bye state government. They do enjoy the freedom of autonomy but doesn't enjoy enough rights to go global and set up one such IIM in Singapore. Follow this link for the news.

Just a passing thought, why can't IIMs go global ? Globalization will not only increase the level of the existing IIMs by giving them the international competition but may also aid financially and even in some other aspects. Globalization is certainly a good option for the development and hence I feel that even if some new rules etc have to be written in the law for this thing the government shouldn't hesitate for the same. What do you all think about the issue ?

Bbye
Arun

New Year, New Story !!!

Hi Guys,

First of all lemme wish you all a very very happy and prosperous new year.

Now, on the advent of any big event such as a new year, all of us have big plans to rock the event and enjoy it to its fullest. One of my friend also planned to celebrate his new year in his own way. He, together with two of his friends planned to have a night out on the streets of Delhi. Where is the fuss then ? Simple, they thought to rock the event and hence how come there not be any GIRL part in the story :) ? Trust me, they are absolutely idiot when it comes to dealing with galz. Fir bhi, somehow they managed to ARRANGE :D 2 gals (whoops... am I not missing anything :-?, weren't there 3 guys ? The answer is no, they managed to arrange 2 gals just because of little misunderstanding ;) ). Somehow, somewhere the plot was ready for a screwed up new year instead of a big extravaganza... and to know how the rest of the things went with them, keep visiting my blogspot for a story named: "Celebrating New Year, the nicest way ;)".

Enjoy ;)
