Chief Got Well: Thanks to Gandhigiri

Arun Tangri

Hyderabad: "Get Well Soon, Chief!!!" was the word chief used to hear from a team of 7 drivers who used to come with a warm smile and a rose in their hands on regular intervals to chief's room. Prepared for gandhigiri completely this team decided to make a 'Nicotine Free Environment'. For those who don't know chief well, chief is a very intriguing personality working as a test lead of the author and his team at Microsoft IDC. He is a multi-talented personality with just one bad habit of smoking and thanks to the Gandhigiri, it no more bother him.

"I was pretty clean even after my college days got over. I remember those days back in America where I first started smoking. It used to be really cold out there and I was left with no other option other than smoking. I know that its not a good habit to inculcate but it just happened. I really wanted to quit it but couldn't. Thanx to the team and Gandhigiri that I am all right now." said Chief.

Here is what let the driver team drive this effort of Nicotine Free Tomorrow.

Notice the cigarette butts lying on the ground in the enlarged image

After watching such a condition of their lead the team decided to do something seriously about it and also in a non-violence mode (fearing for their jobs otherwise in any other mode :D) and so came in picture the Gandhigiri. Here is what the team did for their chief to quit smoking.

The first ever poster made by the team for chief to quit smoking. It was his b'day on that day and that was the gift from the team.
Poster on his first day of non-smoking. Cigarette lost its one of the patron on that day.

First non-smoking day poster.
First non-smoking day poster.

Not only this but the team gave him poster, rose and 'Get Well Soon' wishes in between the period while he was getting cured.

And after so much effort, today the driver team proudly boast of having 100% non-smokers in their team. Once again, thanks to Gandhigiri.

PS: Dear Readers, if you find Chief puffing up a cigarette butt again in the future then please feel free to give the bumps to him because doggy's tail never gets straighten :P.

Who Rule This Planet: A Human Or A Dog ???

Ashish Saxena, my batchmate in IT-BHU had this affinity towards 'Dogs' and used to have a profound altercation with Anoop Pandey on "who is better, a cow or a dog?". I am fed up with the concept of cow and tried to dig out something about this specie, Dog.

It is said that God created the Earth and felt the need of sending someone with wisdom to rule this poor little planet. Hence he made humans who used their thinking ability to create some tools to rule this planet. But as I see it today a big debating question lies on the floor which is:

WHO ACTUALLY RULES THIS PLANET ?

A Human ->
Or A Dog ?? ->
What ? Didn't you get it ? Okay lemme explain how...

The explanation can be manyfolds and the point of a dog ruling this planet can be backed in literally any angle. What is all that is needed to declare someone a ruler of any place? Hmm... let's jot down some points:

1) You gotta be strong and have a good self-defence / offense that could be used against your enemy at the right time.

Don't you think that Dogs have one ;)?

Well... sometime you need to fight too for what you deserve :)

2) You should be free enough to do whatever you wanna do and no body should dare interrupt you in between.

Now... Do you have that much courage in you to do THAT in public ;) ?
3) Okay okay... somewhat you gotta be handsome and a 'person in ques' among opposite sex too ;).

Dogs DO HAVE some real gud looking creatures amongst themself too. Look at this fellow.. he has just asked his bitch GF "YO BABY!!! How are you doooiiiiing ;)"

4) You gotta have some fear of yourself in the eyes of enemies.

Dogs aren't behind in making their repo in this area too.
Now based on above explanations I am confused whether who is ruling this planet... is it really a human or a DOG doing this?

Comments are welcome :).

Enjoy
